Vehicles that continue receiving power from the cigarette lighter plug after the engine has been switched off are referred to as normally powered vehicles. This problem occurs when the cigarette lighter plug supplies power to the dash cam on a normally powered vehicle, and the "Auto OFF after stop" feature is disabled in the dash cam setting.

This problem can be resolved by enabling the "Auto OFF after stop" function (5/10/20 minutes of continuous inactivity is optional).

This model is equipped with software-level WDR capability, which can greatly optimize the imaging effect in scenarios with strong brightness contrast, such as the following:

Entering and exiting tunnels or underground garages during the daytime on a sunny day.

Headlights shining directly on the license plate of the vehicle at night.

Shadow imaging of objects on the road in areas exposed to strong sunlight.

1.Please check the connection between the dash cam, power cable and car charger.
2.This situation might caused by unmatched voltage between the cigarette lighter socket and the dash cam.
Make sure you use the standard power cable and car charger within the package in case of incompatibility issues.

The dash cam will indicate that the memory card is abnormal when the situation is as follows: The microSD card capacity is less than 8G;
The read/write speed of the microSD card is less than Class 10;
The microSD is aged;
The microSD card is unidentifiable;
The microSD card contains files incompatible with the dash cam;
The format is incorrect.
The microSD card needs to be formatted when it is used for the first time in the dash cam.
We recommend that you can replace with 32G (or above) SAMSUNG Memory Card to solve this problem. The reason why we recommend this card is that we didn't receive fault feedback about this card yet.

1. Please open the location authorization of the 70mai APP in the system setting list for solving this problem.
2. Please check whether you connect the right device. Smart Dash cam and Dash cam 1S are totally different.
3. Please make sure that your wifi password filled in correctly.

This model is equipped with F/2.0 large aperture lens and 70mai Night Owl Vision image sensors, allowing for excellent low-light imaging capabilities, which are supplemented by specially optimized imaging parameters for night driving and night parking security. In scenarios with dim lighting, such as traveling at night on roads without street lights, parking in parking lots with dim lighting, dim underground garage, etc., the dash cam can provide outstanding image quality for image algorithm analysis and evidence acquiring.

The parking surveillance function can be enabled only after the parking surveillance cable( 70mai hardwire kit) is installed.
Parking surveillance function is disabled by default. After the parking surveillance cable is installed and the dash cam is connected with your phone, you can enable it in the dash cam's "settings".

This is an entry-level dash cam model that cannot support various types of optional 70mai external expansion cameras.

As an entry-level model, this dash cam does not support ADAS.

As an entry-level model, this dash cam does not support GPS (the hardware does not come with a GPS module). Therefore, it does not provide driving routes, latitude/longitude, and other functions related to vehicle location.

As an entry-level model, this dash cam does not support 4G connectivity and is not compatible with the 70mai 4G Hardwire Kit for the 70mai dash cam.

This model supports the following command words: “I want to take a photo”, “I want to lock the video”,” turn on audio”,” turn off audio”, “turn on hotspot”, “turn off hotspot.”
